Meresay publishes a small, curated catalog of short texts: original sentences drafted with the help of AI and reviewed by a human editor, plus a limited set of public-domain quotations with verified attribution. Everything is written or chosen by us — nothing is uploaded by users. We keep a record of how every item entered the catalog.
If you believe content infringes your copyright
Email meresay@gaar.dev and include:
- The work you believe was copied (or a description of it).
- Where it appears in Meresay — the message text is enough (a screenshot of the notification or the item in the app is ideal).
- A way to reach you.
We review copyright reports within 48 hours. If a message shouldn't have been published, we remove it from the catalog and cancel any pending deliveries of it immediately.
A note on the DMCA
The DMCA's safe-harbor and designated-agent process is designed for services that host content uploaded by their users. Meresay hosts no user-uploaded content — the catalog is ours — so that formal process generally does not apply here. We nonetheless take provenance seriously and act on any good-faith copyright report as described above.
Other content concerns
For a message you find harmful or inappropriate (not a copyright issue), the fastest route is the report button inside the app — every message can be reported, and reports are reviewed by a human. You can also email meresay@gaar.dev.
